Purchasing Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are purchased just like any other item on our website.  Once purchased, the value of the card will be added to an account created for the recipient.  The recipient will be given instructions on how to validate the gift certificate and apply it to their purchase of our custom services.

How to Send Gift Certificates
If you have selected to email the gift certificate to the recipient or yourself, you will get an email confirmation along with a copy of the actual email of the gift.  If you have selected to receive a printed and packaged gift certificate for giving in person, you will receive an email confirmation of your order and a shipped status email when it is shipped.

Redeeming Gift Certificates
If you receive a gift certificate by email it will contain details of who sent you the gift as well as a gift certificate number.  It is probably a good idea to print out this email for future reference.  You will be asked to go to our website and login into your account (login information will be provided in the email as well). Here you will be able to activate the gift certificate and be given a redemption code to use at checkout toward the purchase of one of our custom services.

Please note: if your purchase is more than the value of the gift certificate you will have to select another payment method to cover the difference.  If your purchase is less than the value of the gift certificate, the balance will be left in your account for future use.

Gift Certificate Terms 
Gift certificates must be redeemed toward the purchase of any of our custom services (invitations, announcements, or event stationery). Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase other gift certificates or DIY products. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient’s account and is not transferable.

If a Gift Certificate and/or the certificate number are lost, the purchaser will need to verify the order via their original order email. Dionisa’s Designs is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.
